Welcome to Masculine Manhattan, a street style blog focusing on stylish, masculine men of Manhattan, created, photographed and written by Ehren David Edralin.
This city contains an unparalleled array of stylish men. I always felt when it came to capturing street style in so many amazing blogs devoted to that very subject, the men always got the short end of the stick. They were represented for sure, but it seemed like, as an after thought to the beautiful ladies. A lot of times as I peruse these wonderful street style blogs, the men have to be wearing something outrageous, overly hip, trendy, flashy or “fashion-y” in order to make the cut. I am supportive of that perspective and enjoy a wide variety of style on all types of guys, but I wanted to create a blog that focused as much on the man wearing the clothes as the clothes themselves, as well as the diversity of masculinity.
There are a lot of guys who have no interest in fashion, but have a vested interest in looking good. Sometimes, it’s not even about the clothes, but about the way a guy carries himself – his gait, mannerisms, energy, elegance, swagger, and stance. Sometimes it’s his nonchalance, aloofness, confidence but mostly his masculinity. From my experience, these guys are wandering all over the borough of Manhattan, waiting to be captured for this blog.
So enjoy and send your feedback. I love hearing what you have to say.

Hi, David … I’ve just nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award, which you certainly deserve ! All the best, Mark
A great mission statement, David. Love it! Fashion is not all about fashion, amazing how often that is overlooked.
Thanks Steven. Glad you are astute enough to get that. Cheers to you!
Ahoy, David … I’ve just nominated you for the WordPress loyalty award, which has rather a strange title, though it’s completely legit. Thanks for this, David … I’ll do my best to work around this and not allow anything to taint our friendship. I’m glad to hear that you haven’t been traveling in the Ukraine and that you did not lose your wallet there ! Mark
I am sure my voice does not mean much…but this is probably one of the coolest blogging concepts I have seen in all of wordpress.
Are you kidding me! With a compliment like that, your voice is priceless. By all means spread the word to anyone you think would find it of interest. Cheers, David.

Thank you so much for the shout out. I’m flattered. You always give my blog props
I do it because your blog is super AWESOME!
AWESOME! Concept for a blog. Such a creative way to view mens fashion even for those guys that aren’t into fashion but secretly want to view the latest trends.
Thank you very much. Men’s style and fashion on the streets, particularly in New York is a fascinating subject. I hope you share your knowledge of my blog to those who would find it of interest. Thanks for your compliment and support.
This is my first time to your blog. I love this description of what you are trying to accomplish and explore in its pages. Very cool. I have been searching around for weeks experiencing different blogs and their varying messages and purposes. I have seen nothing exactly like yours. I think fashion is extremely important. But I also really like how you point out that the way a man carries himself is just as important as what he wears when it comes to looking good. Your posts are accompanied by beautiful pictures and interesting words. Keep up the great work, my friend.
Adam, thank you for your insights on my page. I’m flattered that my blog is nothing like you’ve seen in your search. I appreciate that and your compliments on my pictures and musings. I’ve learned the best way to get my blog seen is to have supporters like you tell any of their friends who might find it of interest. Cheers and looking forward to reading more of your posts Adam.
Absolutely, my friend. It’s easy to spread the word about quality blogging like yours! And thank you for stopping by and reading my blog. I appreciate it!
Another great compliment. You spoil me. Your posts are equally engaging. Keep it up!
Loving this blog. Alas, San Francisco men are not very fashionable. (Some, but not most)
Thank you! Glad you love it. Keep coming back and bring some friends along too! San Francisco is a great city. Maybe you and I can help them there step it up. 🙂
Very cool idea for a blog man. And you’re definitely right about men getting shafted when it comes to fashion blogs. Not that I know anything about that of course. I usually just hang out in my pants all day (remember, I’m from the UK – means something else).
I love the concept of this blog. Your photographs are wonderful!
Thank you very much. Be sure to send the link to my blog out to any of your friends who may also find it of interest. Cheers:)
Hy Ehren,
As an appreciation of you and your online presence, we are giving you the Shine on Blogger-to-blogger award!
Best wishes,
F&F
Love your blog!
Thank you my friend. I love you and your blog back. Tell all your friends about it:)
I will! 🙂 xx
I’m not sure what I look at first, the “model” (and I use that term loosely as these are real man on the street) or the fashion they wear, but combined, creates a fantastic blog!
Out of all the guys I’ve shot, I’d say one was an actual model. I prefer real guys and their real, personal style. I’m glad you like the blog. I like yours as well. Glad we connected!
Indeed and thank you in return 🙂
