The Village
13th Street
This was at 9 a.m. on a particularly humid weekday morning. I overheard this guy tell his girlfriend as he passed that he didn’t want to get his shirt “soaked” before heading into the office. Even if he was more concerned with his physical comfort rather than the care for his garment, I admire the thoughtfulness.
In summer, I always carefully rolled my business shirts in a carry bag, wore a polo shirt or tee walking to work or on the subway; cooled down for 10-15 minutes at work, and then changed into my business shirt. Excessive sweating problem – solved! : )
